Here are a collection of designs for East Anglian based cafe chain, Honey and Harvey, which include menu, merch and social media post designs. This project was based off the previous branding and involved creating new, innovative and fresh concepts whilst implementing the original brand’s image for a design with individuality.
MENTA is an East Anglian based organisation dedicated to supporting local business. In the past, I have produced designs for many of their events and related brands, including flyers, postcards and logos. Most of the designs are corporate in style and information heavy which involved trying to craft certain projects to fit around paragraphs and infographics.
In preparation of Gabby River’s latest EP, Disappointed But Not Surprised, I was briefed to design a new logo, stickers and artwork for the EP cover, all in a 60’s, retro inspired theme. This project included illustrating the designs for the stickers, manipulating fonts for the logo design and photo editing for the EP artwork.
Working with Life Arts, a wellbeing event organiser in Suffolk, I was tasked with revitalising their brand by modernising the original logo and redesigning their posters whilst preserving the old brand’s imagery. This project also involved choosing a broad colour palette and new fonts as requested by the client.
In this project, I produced a new logo, flyer design, business card and an overlay for livestreams in a playful and cartoonish style for chess teacher and streamer, Felix Todd. As the client’s main audience is children, we decided collaboratively to keep the brand’s image fun to ‘lighten’ the heavy subject of chess, engaging kids and parents alike to be interested in learning the game.
Flyer design for Kiltti and Authentic Responses to promote their training courses for mental health hotline providers. The project brief was to keep things light in tone and to implement both Kiltti and Authentic Response’s branding such as colours into the design. This design involved involved illustrating the two CEOs from both organisations in a friendly and clean style. Originally, the client wanted illustrations of cute animals to avoid discriminating or leaving out certain races or gender within their marketing.
Vibrant and minimalistic logo design for female targeted business advisor, Polly Means Business. The use of speech bubbles within the design originates from the brand’s original name, Her Voice, which was changed during the designing phase of the logo. As the client liked the design, I incorporated it into the brand’s new name.
Simplistic and modern logo design for Suffolk based fitness club, Airborne Run Club. This project involved different concepts centred around typography and imagery of shoes in relation to the theme of running. The client stated that he also wanted to focus on the abbreviation of the club’s name and finalised on using this design for the logo.
Formal, decorative yet clean logo design for Felixstowe based seaside cafe, Sweetwater. The client wanted a design that would be new yet simplistic enough to match their basic branding given to their fish and chip shop neighbouring, Saltwater. They had also specified they wanted to use the same colours found in the cafe’s interior and utilise imagery of lilies (later on specifying a fleur de lis symbol). Some of the concepts were created off brief to give the client extra options due to their initial uncertainty of what they wanted conceptually.
